What are your dreams? I once read that there are three kinds of people: Those who talk about their dreams and goals, those who talk about things, and those who talk about other people. As should be pretty clear, I’m usually a better person if I focus on my goals and dreams. But it’s not always easy to do!

The instructors at Inverse are nothing short of amazing. My daughter started attending when she was 5 and has stuck with it for over a year. Her skills have improved and she’s grown tremendously off the mat as well, she’s more confident and outgoing. The instructors also teach respect both on and off the mat. The variety of class schedules at both locations help working parents as well. We love Inverse!

Incredible place to learn and train. The professors and coaches are absolutely fantastic and genuinely care about all students. The business is run extremely efficiently, information about schedule changes is always presented clearly, other martial arts schools could take notice on this. Probably the best part though is the culture the team has created, everyone is welcome no matter age, skill or athleticism. Definitely worth giving them a try if you are in the Tucson/Vail area!

I am 46 with 2 small 6-year-old Twin daughters. I started them in Jiu Jitsu at age 5 so they would be able to protect themselves when they are older. A few months later they ask me why they had to do Jiu Jitsu, but I didn’t? Well as an Army Vet and Father I have tried to lead by example, so I started my Jiu Jitsu Journey. I have not done much exercising for the last 10 years and cannot run due to arthritis in my knees. As a result. my weight was starting to get out of control. I won’t lie and say it’s easy, but it is rewarding, and the people are really supportive and friendly. The Twins are doing great and seem to have some talent in Jiu Jitsu. For myself, I have officially lost over 20 pounds and noticeable inches off my waist. I am so glad to have found Inverse Jiu Jitsu to lead our family on our Jiu Jitsu Journey.

Inverse Jiu Jitsu is a wonderful place for adults and children to nourish their martial arts journey. The coaches and professors are professional, caring, encouraging, and knowledgable. Both locations are clean and well kept. All staff delivers an excellent job of instructing and coaching with the highest standards for safety, professionalism, respect, and integrity. At tournaments the same standards and care, professionalism, respect, integrity, and coaching are delivered and with an obvious passion about representing the Inverse Jiu Jitsu name and business outside in a public forum. I highly recommend Inverse Jiu JItsu.

Inverse Jiu Jitsu has absolutely rekindled my love and desire to progress in this sport. The coaches are patient, detailed oriented and very supportive of all levels - empowering every student to both learn technique and spar in a safe environment right from day one. The community is inviting, kind and accepting without any ego to “prove” themselves. After only 4 days of training I feel like I’ve found a place I can come learn, train and build community. Highly recommend.

Great family atmosphere. The instructors are not only very knowledgeable, they are also good at teaching their art. Whether you are an advanced student or trying out your first class you will feel welcome.

I have loved this facility since I started over 2 years ago. We started with my son and eventually myself and wife joined. Very family friendly, extremely clean, and the instructions from the staff is fantastic. It is great to know that between the two school locations, you can train up to 6 days a week with several class times and options. The instructions from the professor are flowed down to the other coaches so you can be sure that what you (or your child) is learning at one location is the same set of instructions being taught at the other location.

Gym & staff are both outstanding. Everyone is very supportive and encouraging. Great for kids & adults.

After taking my daughter for one free trail lesson, she was hooked. Great coaches that motivate and inspire the kids to work hard and remain focused on the training while in a friendly environment. Unlike other mix martial art forms, my daughter is actively rolling (sparing) every practice. This gets her used to the real force that she may experience in a real life altercation. Would recommend Inverse JJ to any family interested in getting their kids involved in an activity that keeps them active while learning a useful skill that they can carry the rest of their lives.
